Description:
Job Purpose : Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of the organization. Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including external and internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Maintain a high end inbound & outbound logistics cycle optimized from cost & delivery time perspectives. Job Responsibilities: Manage the process of transport inbound & outbound logistics via various modes (Air/Sea/Inland). Manage shipping documents and inbound & outbound logistics documentation cycle and continuously improving time optimization. Manage Internal Logistics and distribution to Foreign Customers. Manage inbound & outbound Logistical costs, performance, and risk according certain KPIs. Maintain current information on export tariffs, licenses, and restrictions. Manage techniques and procedures including consulting with different departments to determine policies and system functional specifications. Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers. Maintain the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of movement of goods. Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements. Evaluate performance and follow up on freight forwarders. Authority to issue/handle all the governmental required documents for shipping. Authority of personnel actions to his subordinates. Authority to manage all the financial issues based on approved Budget. Job Qualifications: Education : BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration Years of Experience : +7 Years of experience Prior experience of working in logistics/supply chain/transportation function within the industry.
