Could you be the full-time onsite Power Supply Lead Engineer in Cairo, EG we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the charge in shaping the future of power supply systems for transportation, ensuring projects are executed with excellence and adhere to the highest standards of quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Tests and Commissioning teams), manage critical interfaces with civil and MEP partners/contractors, and much more. We’ll look to you for: Leading the Traction engineering and ensuring the implementation of the projects according to the design for quality standards. Writing and modifying calculation notes for HV/MV/LV Cable Sizing & Protection Coordination, short circuit calculation, CT VT sizing, earthing lightning UPS and charger sizing, and other substation equipment sizing calculations. Performing the power supply basic engineering activities for high voltage/medium voltage/low voltage parts of a project. Providing electrical architectures, technical specifications, functional specifications, and interface specifications, and identifying gaps. Identifying and managing the interfaces required between POS MV-LV subsystem and other subsystems. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Knowledge of MV network and cable sizing using specific tools such as ETAP or SKM. Proficiency in AutoCAD software. Familiarity with high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage electrical installations. Experience with BIM methodologies.
