Specific Responsibilities The Salam Gas Plant East Production Advisor works closely with the Tarek & Salam Gas Field Managers to Co-manage all the departments reporting to gas operations within KPC Tarek Area fields, facilities & wells. The role will provide experienced leadership, direction, and advice As well as hand on field work to support the business with the aim of meeting or exceeding company goals. You will report directly to the Deputy Fields GM while being technically supported from Cairo engineering and production teams. There are several large assets and facilities that need to be managed ensuring integrity of assets are not compromised, and facilities/fields are operating safely and efficiently: • Oversee and manage the Tarek area Gas Plant, Remote Production Facilities and wells. Includes various sizes and types of compression, power generation, separation, and stabilization systems. There are multiple facilities and fields that are managed under this role and we are expanding year over year. KPC is activity exploring and developing fields in high GOR plays resulting in multiple gathering systems supported by field compression and natural flow systems. • Co-leadership of a multi-disciplined operations teams ranging from 1st engineers to experienced professionals. • Remain current in all regulatory, technical, and business programs applicable to the role and follow related practices and processes. • Meet role-specific goals and objectives as assigned; may be requested to participate in their development. • Always follow the site-specific procedures and/or including operation manuals; participate in recurring SOP/GOP reviews. • Ensure that you and your team follow all approved safe work procedures. • Maximize production and minimize equipment failures and downtime. Planned outages and subsequent deferrals must be communicated in a timely manner. • Ensure your teams report all abnormal operating conditions outside of normal operating parameters. • Work with the asset integrity team on planning and completion of integrity activities. Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: Experience: • Minimum of 10+ years oil and gas or equivalent related industry experience. • Site specific training requirements. Education: • Engineering degree or adequate technical studies • Preference for oil and gas related post-secondary education.
