Could you be the full-time onsite E&M Engineer in Cairo, EG we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates. You'll lead the wayside subsystem expertise for our projects, making a significant impact on how we interface with our clients and stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as procurement, design, and quality assurance), serve as the technical contact point between the customer and project stakeholders and the wayside subsystem supplier, and much more. We’ll look to you for: Validating all the documentation coming from the supplier (design, TC, training), monitoring the supplier progress. Validating the supplier standalone test and inspection. Leading all the coordination between the supplier and the other subsystems for the interface's definition. Producing the Technical part of suppliers RFQ for tender and projects. Technical contact point between the customer and project stakeholders and the wayside subsystem supplier. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Degree in telecommunications or electrical engineering. Experience or understanding of Railway systems, with preference to the following items: Networking (Ethernet, IP, Routers/Switches/Firewalls, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, Wi-Fi). Knowledge of review and design electrical schematics. General knowledge on AFC subsystem. Understanding of SCADA, Switches, and PSD systems is a plus.
