Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ Key activities of this role include: * Manages the distributors in Key focus markets and develop their go to market capabilities for the portfolio, developing and creating new channels of distribution * Leading new distributors setup process: scouting, business opportunity evaluation, Due Diligence, agreement negotiation, portfolio planning, pricings and launch plan) * Map relevant external stakeholders and decision makers, create & maintain relationships, including HCP and KOL management . As well Identifying and qualifying potential centers * Manage and coach active distributors to ensure that all goals are accomplished: commercial target, in-market activities and forecast. * Provide clinical support and training plan for new centers * Report results against forecasts to senior management, as well as any adjustments made to business plans to ensure objectives are met. * Identify unmet needs of the Middle East & Africa market, their stakeholders and support creating incremental value for the company, jointly with internal stakeholders * Support congress management and participate at booth * Conducts presentations to senior customer executives and decision-makers. * Prepares formal proposals and leads negotiations. Prepares Business Plans Agreements and insures their approval and implementation with the customers. * Analyzes customer business opportunities and threats and designs plans to capitalize on them. * Works in collaboration with cross function teams (Regulatory, Marketing, Professional affairs, Customer service, Sales support team, Finance, Supply Chains and other) , in order to deliver a sustainable business and overcome any challenges. * Function as Middle East & Africa representative in the commercial team Required skills You will need to be able to evolve in an environment with various degrees of complexity and ambiguity, understanding well the Middle East & Africa health care system and value drivers. * High performer with leadership skills and potential to develop * Entrepreneurial attitude, being a self-starter and goal oriented * Good communication and presentation skills with ability to positively influence mindsets and gain commitment * Ability to rapidly gain trust building up internal and external relationships * Maintain accountability for his/her actions and be able to take all aspects into consideration for decision making process in challenging situations * Demonstrate both strategic and analytical capabilities * Problem-solving mindset with project management skills Main performance measures (Performance Goals) * G&Os incl. sales targets * Setting-up training for Nurses, distributor team and doctors * Creation of centers of excellence Qualification & Experience Required * Education: BS required, Masters Degree a plus (Business or Healthcare related) * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical devices sales and/or marketing role (e.g. product management), with a solid operating room experience * Minimum of 2 years experience in distributor management is a must * Experience within Surgical vision is plus. * Previous experience in Egypt, Middle East & Africa health care environment for several years, understanding dynamics and trends is a must * Language: Arabic, fluent in English * Location: Egypt The role requires travel within the Middle East & Africa region Leadership Behaviors Required * LIVE OUR CREDO: Demonstrate and inspire the behaviors that reinforce Our Credo. * CONNECT: Develop deep insights into the needs of our patients, customers, markets and communities. * SHAPE: Drive innovation; anticipate and shape industry and market changes to advance health care globally. * LEAD: Create an environment where leadership and talent development is top priority. * DELIVER: Deliver results by inspiring and mobilizing people and teams. Technical/Functional Skills Required * Marketing experience greatly valued (new product launch/introduction) * Business development and account management experience greatly valued. * General surgery procedure & anatomy knowledge greatly valued. * Clinical experience greatly valued. * Health economics experience or knowledge valued. * Regional experience a plus.
