Opportunity Overview The client is a pioneering equity crowdfunding platform in the MENA region, democratising access to start-up investments for ordinary UAE citizens. In simple terms, where investments into companies such as Uber, Airbnb and Coinbase were previously gatekept to seasoned professional investors, now you or I could invest and own part of such a company through the client’s platform. This start-up was co-founded by two Lebanese entrepreneurs that are UAE and London based. Our client is creating a next-gen equity crowdfunding platform built on Next.js, and are looking for someone who is eager to grow with them as they revolutionise the way startups raise capital. Job Description We're looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our startup, an innovative equity crowdfunding platform. If you're a designer who wants to contribute to the world of startups and fintech, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. You'll become an important part of our small team, playing a crucial role in the UX/UI of our platform. Key Responsibilities: Identify and improve the base user flows for our users. Create beautiful and practical wireframes on Figma that cover the platform's pages, components, and interactions. Research current design trends and integrate the relevant improvements within the platform. Help startups tell their story via curated pitch designs prior to announcing them on the platform. Minimum Qualifications: 1+ year of experience as a UI/UX designer. Experience with Figma. Prior exposure to detecting, improving, and influencing user journeys. Experience with LTR and RTL design.
