Summary We are looking to hire a Software Project Manager to join us in achieving global leadership and enriching knowledge by making it available to Arabic-speaking people wherever they are. The successful candidate shall be responsible for facilitating the Agile processes, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful project delivery within the defined time frames while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Responsibilities Serve as the Scrum Master for the Development Team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) and ensuring adherence to Agile principles Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and the Development Team to define project goals, prioritize features, and create and manage the product backlog Break down project requirements into user stories or tasks, ensuring they are well-defined, estimated, and ready for development Track and monitor project progress, working closely with the Development Team to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of sprint deliverables Identify and resolve any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the team's progress, facilitating communication and removing obstacles to ensure continuous workflow Act as a liaison between the Development Team and stakeholders, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and incorporating feedback into the project Generate relevant reports and metrics to provide visibility into the project's status, including sprint burndown charts, velocity, and other performance indicators Identify and mitigate project risks, working proactively with the team to address potential issues and minimize their impact on project delivery Qualifications and Work Experience 4+ years of experience as a project manager Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field Proven experience as a project manager or Scrum Master, preferably in a software development environment Strong understanding of Agile principles, values, and methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean Excellent knowledge of project management practices and tools, with the ability to apply Agile practices effectively Experience in breaking down project requirements into user stories or tasks, estimating effort, and managing product backlogs Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate collaboration, manage stakeholders, and drive the team's performance Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities, fostering flexibility and adaptability within the team Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools, such as Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master) is a plus Behavioral Competencies Good communication skills Problem-solving skills Analytical skills Attention to detail Continuous learning Time management skills Powered by JazzHR
